FAQ

How far in advance should I book my wedding photographer?

It’s best to book your wedding photographer as soon as you have your wedding date set. Popular dates can book up quickly, so securing your photographer 9-12 months in advance is ideal. However, don’t hesitate to reach out even if your wedding is sooner—I may still have availability!

What is included in your wedding photography packages?

Each of my wedding photography packages is tailored to fit your needs, but they generally include things like pre-wedding consultations, all-day coverage, a set number of photos, and an online gallery for viewing and downloading your images. I can help you choose the package that best suits your day!

How many photos will we receive?

The number of photos you receive depends on the package and the length of your wedding day, but on average, I deliver around 500-700 edited images for a full wedding day. You’ll get a variety of candid moments, portraits, and detailed shots that tell the full story of your day.

How long after the wedding will we receive our photos?

I typically deliver your final edited images within 4-6 weeks after your wedding. I want to ensure each photo is thoughtfully edited, but I know you’ll be excited to relive your day, so I strive to get them to you as soon as possible.

Can we customize our package?

Absolutely! I understand that each couple has different needs, and I’m happy to customize a package for you. Whether you need additional hours, a second shooter, or an engagement session, I’m here to help create the perfect photography experience for your big day.

Do you offer a second shooter?

Yes! I offer a second shooter as part of some of my packages or as an add-on. A second shooter is great for capturing more moments from different angles, especially if you’re having a large wedding or want to make sure no moment is missed.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, I do! I love photographing weddings in different locations. Whether you’re getting married locally or out of town, I’m happy to travel to your venue. Travel fees may apply depending on the distance from my location.

Can we have a “first look” or private moment before the ceremony?

Yes, many couples choose to have a "first look" before the ceremony, and I think it’s such a beautiful moment to capture. If you'd prefer a private moment together or a first look with your wedding party, I can help coordinate that into your timeline to make sure it's photographed perfectly.

What if the weather is bad on our wedding day?

Don’t worry! I’ve got plenty of experience working with different weather conditions, and we’ll find creative ways to capture beautiful images no matter what. We can also plan for indoor photos if needed, or I can suggest locations with great coverage if you still want to go outside.

Can we provide you with a shot list or specific requests?

Of course! While I have a style and flow for the day, I always welcome any specific shots or requests you may have, especially when it comes to family photos or unique traditions. I’ll work with you to ensure I capture everything that’s important to you!
